Meet Elise, Allied Health Assistant
Elise loves working with young people, and supporting them in their journey to have meaningful and rich lives. She enjoys supporting people’s growth and development, and believes communication empowers people to do so.
As Elise has a background in psychology, she is enjoying exploring all areas of the Speech Pathology world. She is currently drawn to social skills, sensory feeding, literacy skills and early language.
Elise’s hobbies and interests change all the time - depending what time of the year you ask, it could be something totally new! Her common weekend adventures include visiting her family on the Sunshine Coast, cooking a new recipe, going camping and hiking, or reading a book in the park.
“I love working with young people and children - it is such a unique time in a person’s life, and I feel honoured to be a part of their journey. Communication is so critical for us to lead meaningful lives - to be able to empower someone by supporting the development of their communication skills is so fulfilling.”
